This course has been designed to provide learners with an understanding of what infection prevention and control is, how infection occurs in the workplace, and the steps you can take to help minimise the risk of infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has been developed to cover the unit of competency HLTINFCOV001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures. The course will be personalised based on the learner\u2019s work environment. Why these are important and how to implement them properly<\/td> 60 minutes<\/td><\/tr> Risk Management<\/td> Risk assessment process applied to infection control, where participants have the opportunity to apply what they\u2019ve learnt to their workplace and take a risk based approach to applying infection prevention and control precautions.<\/td> 30 minutes<\/td><\/tr> Assessment<\/td> Learners will need to answer a series of online multiple choice and short answer questions.
